East End X Yuri

Where Dragon Ash was the perfect example of a more hardcore rap style, East
End X Yuri is the exact OTHER end of the spectrum. Their rap style was a more
upbeat fun sounding style.
Songs such as Da Yo Ne and Maicca were fun tunes that had upbeat catchy background
tunes assocaited with them. Consisting of two guys and a girl, East End's sound
was very distinctive.

Every Little Thing

ELT is probably one of my all favorite bands. ELT now consists of Kaori Mochida (singer)
and Ichiro Ito (guitar). Their 3rd prominent member Mitsuru Igarashi (keyboard) just
recently quit the band.
ELTs music is a heavy guitar and keyboard sounding pop/rock sound. Their songs are
quite often very upbeat, enjoyable tunes. But, their ballads and slow songs are
excellent as well. Driven by Ichiro's guitar and Kaori's wonderful voice, ELT
has become one of the biggest bands in Japan. How their style will change since
the departure of Mitsuru has yet to really be seen.
