It is of significant importance to any traveller of the civilized world to be familiar with the acceptable protocol and honorifics. What follows is a discussion of these honorifics and their correct usage when addressing nobility or officiality. The protocol presented herein is generally correct when the addressee is not familiar with the specific titles or honorifics of the person addressed. These should not be used as replacements for any specific honorifics when such are known to the addressee.
