Weapon Fatigue

II.C.5. Weapon Fatigue

The use of melee weapons for extended lengths of time will cause fatigue which impairs performance. After fighting for a full minute, the character begins to suffer from fatigue. The character must take the weapon speed of the weapon used during this time in fatigue. After five minutes of combat, the weapon speed is taken in fatigue again. After a full hour of combat, fatigue is accumulated again. If a character uses multiple weapons of various fatigue during a battle, then only the strongest is taken.

Once the danger is gone, the character accumulates fatigue again. Note that a several battles may be engaged in over a period of an hour, none of which is more than a minute, with the character remaining in constant danger throughout. The character has earned no fatigue until the danger is passed, or until eight continuous hours of stress and danger are undergone.
