Once a character's skills have been chosen, it becomes necessary to determine how good he or she is with the chosen skills. Compare number of Learning Points that character has in a skill to the Learning Point Total chart on Table I.E.3-1 for Skill Level. This is the character's beginning Skill Level (SL) with the skill.
Skill | LPT | Skill | LPT | Skill | LPT | ||
0 | 0 | 7 | 100 | 14 | 675 | ||
1 | 2 | 8 | 150 | 15 | 825 | ||
2 | 4 | 9 | 210 | 16 | 1000 | ||
3 | 8 | 10 | 275 | 17 | 1200 | ||
4 | 15 | 11 | 350 | 18 | 1425 | ||
5 | 30 | 12 | 450 | 19 | 1675 | ||
6 | 60 | 13 | 550 | 20 | 2000 |
The character's Mental Total determines how fast he or she will improve his or her skill, the LPT shows how close he or she is to improving the skill, and the SL is a measurement of how good the character currently is.
