Learning Base:
	They receive 1*MEN in Learning Points per level earned as
their racial base.  They also receive an additional 10 lp per
level which may only be spent on racially normal skill access.  This
bonus amount may never exceed 30 lp, however.

Senses:
	They are natural have night vision, i.e. the ability to see
in relatively low level illumination.  They do not normally see
into the infrared range of light (but see the racial advantages
available.)

Racial Abilities:
	They are normally blessed with the mageborn talent.
	They age much slower than humans.

Aging:
	Gold elves age at rate much slower than humans, among the
slowest of the Alfar.  A gold is considered to be a young adult
upon his or her 65th birthday, and middle age for a gold elf
does not begin until over 180 years have been lived.

Description:
	The alfar are a lithe, almost petite folk by human
standards.  Gold elves are the tallest of the alfar.  The
average male gold elf stands 5'6", while the average female
stands 5'3"  They appear to be fair-haired cousins of the high
elves, with golden blonde and light brown hair being very common. 
Red or lavender hair is a bit uncommon, white is fairly rare, and
black or dark blue hair is virtually unheard of.  The skin
complexion of gold elves is very pale, with only the faintest
traces of a tan on the most weathered gold elf.  Blue and violet
colored eyes are very common, followed most closely by green and
amber.  The occasional red or grey eyed gold elf does appear,
but there are no brown eyed gold elves.

Racial Advantages:
	Fairy-blood for 3 background points.
	Infravision for 1 background point.

Racial Disadvantages:
	No magic for 3 points.
	Night blind for 1 point.
