| Veronica | Name: Veronica Shields Nickname: Chaotic Serenity Website: Dark Stranger Why do you like Tomo?: I wouldn't say like as much as intrigue. Of all the Seiryuu characters in the show, I think Tomo's the one who's always remained a great mystery to me. (Even over Miboshi's, whose motivations I think I understand.) His past remains in shadow, his true personality hidden, and what we know of the true Tomo we've only seen in illusions. He is man who is covered by a mask as strongly symbolic as Chichiri's, though many forget that. It isn't just some random character trait; obviously, Tomo has gone through some sort of trauma in his life. For that, I empathize with him. Let's face it; Watase really shortchanged the Seiryuu, especially Miboshi, Tomo, and Ashitare. They didn't even get songs (though Tomo's seiyuu has a wonderful voice), much less any vindication as to why their characters were as we saw them. Ashitare seemed to be the only one with any justification for his visciousness. Heck, Tomo, a rather lovely bishounen as we saw once or twice, doesn't even get his own picture in the art books! How unfair is that? For suriving in a world where the odds were so stacked against him, I could at least appreciate his character. What would you do to Tomo if you caught him alone? (keep it printable): Ask him about his past and motivations. After all, is not the answer to who we are found in the events of past times? To paint or not to paint?: Hmm...as much as I love his adorably delicate, femenine features, I'll go with the paint. After all, it is what makes Tomo...Tomo Hair up or down?: Pulled back.
